How to log an absence

We request that parents either:
1. Use the school app to log an absence.
a. STEP 1 – Download the school app below
b. STEP 2 – Follow the prompts once you have downloaded the app
c. STEP 3 – Log the absence

OR

2. Phone the school to log an absence

Absences

Under the Education Act 1989, Part 3, Enrolment and Attendance of Students – children are required to attend school every day.

Written notification is required if a child will be absent for reasons other than illness. This is important as we like to be aware of the welfare of children coming to school.

For occasional appointments such as the doctor or dentist, we appreciate notification through the school office or the classroom teacher.
